Bear (the Ghost)

Beyond limits of genre or style, coolness or culture, resides Robert R. Ritter - better known as DIAMONN GURR or his past project Bear (the Ghost) which sometimes featured collaborators such as Sarah Downen, Noah Atheneum & James Aaron Bishop of LIGHTWASH & Sister Bliss. A former member of Cincinnati-based Enlou, Ritter also formed half of the Philadelphia-based slower with Jarrod Welling-Cann before relocating to Portugal. Throughout all these projects, Ritter has amassed a treasure trove of songs that defy categorization, warm the heart & hit deep. Now in Miami, running Night Swim Radio, Ritter is re-releasing archival material through Underflow Records.

Hailing originally from St. Louis, Bear (the Ghost) features alternating members centered around Robby Ritter, who produces a crafty blend of synthesizers, guitars and quirkily angelic vocals taking an analog bubblebath. Matched up with some video projections, Bear (the Ghost)’s music takes you on an experimental but accessible trip that is sure to make your brain dance and most likely the rest of your body as well.
